You Get What You Pay For



I like free music. Who doesnt? My unquenchable thirst for downloadable music legal or questionably legal took a strange turn when a friend turned me onto the archives of the United States military bands. The Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps bands all have their own websites and, because these bands are funded by the taxpayers, their recordings are free. As far as I could find, our friends in the Coast Guard were left out. Please correct me if Im wrong. Ive been looking for a cop

Yahoo Music to issue refunds to its customers



Earlier we reported that yahoo is going to shutdown issuing DRM licensing from September 30th. So customers who bought music will not be able to play their music in another device after that leaving them in a mess. However Yahoo has announced that it will issue full refunds to the customers. They also looking at the option of giving them copies of their music without any DRM for the customers. Existing yahoo subscribers will be transferred to the Rhapsody service(owned by Real) which offers
